Learn to sail your boat, cook with your crew and live on board as we explore the beautiful Norfolk Broads! Come and learn the ropes, make new friends, join in the fun and explore faith in Jesus!
Whether you have been before, or have yet to experience sailing on the Broads cruise, come along to learn new skills, have loads of fun and learn about following Jesus. We have a fleet of the finest yachts on the Broads, which become our living quarters for a week of challenge, adventure, excitement and learning.
The Norfolk Broads National Park is a stunning network of rivers and man-made lakes teeming with wildlife where our crew will learn to work together to sail their yachts and dinghies. From hoisting and trimming the sails and hauling the sheets to swabbing the decks and preparing tasty meals in the galley, our experienced Skippers will teach you the skills you need. By the end of the week, you and your crew will be running the boats, confident in your new skills!
Each day holds something different, whether it’s messing about in dinghies, games ashore or exploring a new broad. We all meet up each evening for food, fun, Christian worship, prayer, Bible teaching, silly songs and lots of laughter.
A sense of adventure and a desire to be part of the crew is all that is required - we look forward to seeing you on the next Broads Adventure!
The trip is all about teamwork and learning how we can live together as Christians, both on board and in our normal lives. Part of the broads experience is all about learning to get along with others on your boat, sleeping and living in close quarters. We carefully select crew members for each boat to make a good team with a blend of experience from a range of ages. We run separate boats for boys and for girls and also have times during the day when we all get together for activities and fellowship.
Bring a sleeping bag as the design of the boats can often mean sharing a double bunk with another crew member. We all work together to keep the boat clean and tidy to keep everyone well fed, happy and healthy. The Broads cruise is inclusive of all safety equipment, food, activities and accommodation but you will need to arrange your own transport. The nearest rail station is Acle if travelling by train.

Update November 2023: We are now fully booked for Broads Adventure 2024. Bookings for Broads Adventure 2025 will open around May 2024, so check back then.
